Human Research Protections Program
The Human Research Protection Program (HRPP) is a collaborative effort between all who develop, conduct, review, and facilitate human research. It includes institutional leaders, the Institutional Review Board (IRB), researchers, faculty, staff and students. It is an integrated program designed to ensure the protection of the rights and welfare of participants in human research projects conducted under the aegis of the University of Indianapolis. The HRPP office provides researchers and members of the IRB with professional guidance, information, training and administrative support. The IRB is a committee tasked with reviewing and approving human subject research in accordance with Federal Regulations, State Law, and University Policy.
